VBS! Standing on the promises of God!

Lily's friend Kaitlyn invited her to VBS at her church the week before last. Since Lil was sick for the VBS she usually goes to, she was super excited to go! It was at night, and about 25 minutes away, and Eric was out of town...so that was a lot of car ridin' with Paige...but I would not miss out on a chance for Lil to learn about God in such an amazing place as Vacation Bible School! I remember going when I was young, and I loved it...so I wanted Lil to have the same experience! I dropped her off at 6, and then picked her up at 8:30 every night...Sunday - Friday! She was so excited every night when she came home..she Loved it, and was anxious to tell me about everything she learned every night! LOVE IT!! That girl needs a little Jesus;) She remembered everything about every Bible story they talked about! The theme was an adorable beach theme called Promise Island...so awesome! The decorations were awesome, and the teachers were all so sweet! They loved Lil, and said she loved the praise and worship part:) My girl loves to sing! (whether it is lady gaga or praise songs...hey...we are trying!;)) Friday night they invited all of the families to come and they put on a little show. Lil, of course, was front and center and made sure she was in front of the mic! They had refreshments afterwards! She is just too much! Lil, I am so glad you had such a great time learning about Jesus!
