New York, New York!!!

We got up super early and headed to the airport! Our flight left at 6:10 so we got to the airport at 5:10...but we were too excited to be tired! Our flight was only 45 minutes! We got there and immediately got a cab and headed to the city! Our cab driver was literally a maniac, so we were just happy to arrive safely! We went to our hotel to check in and drop off our stuff. We stayed at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and it was amazing!! It was huge and beautiful and right in the heart of times square! LOVED IT!!! We got on the subway and headed to the 911 memorial. We had to get passes online and our time to go was 11:30, so we strolled around some, and had breakfast. We also went into the 911 memorial museum. It was very moving and so sad! When we got to the 911 memorial we had to go through security, and then headed out to see the pools. They were amazing! The new towers were also amazing! I still can't believe that happened there, and to see it all was unreal! After that we went to Wall Street just to check it out! It was so neat! Then we headed to China town...wow!! That was crazy! It was literally like we were in China! We stopped in the grocery store and just looked around. Eric kept saying he thought ninjas were gonna jump out at us! After that we went to Little Italy. We shopped around a little and had a yummy cannolli and we also had a little lunch there. It was so delish! After that we went to SOHO and looked at all of the little high end shops! So Cute! Then we got on the high line bridge in the meatpacking district and just walked and saw all of the sights! I LOVE NYC! It is just such a neat place! Eric fell in love too! After a LONG day of walking and exploring we headed back to our hotel! We rested a bit and then got ready for dinner. We walked around times square a little then hit up a few Irish pubs! So neat! Then we went to an amazing restaurant called Carmines! AMAZING Italian family style place! We had an awesome dinner, and then headed to the top floor of our hotel for dessert. It revolved around the city. AMAZING!!! We finally headed to bed after a LONG day! We had so much fun, and it was so nice to be together! We really enjoyed ourselves!
